Marg Kutz is a retired United Methodist pastor in the Virginia Conference. While she has written many sermons and many articles for various religious periodicals, this is her first book. It has been a labor of love and she’s grateful for the privilege of getting to know Mildred Long and Lillian Russell through this process of research and writing.

In her retirement, Marg has served several interim appointments, coached pastors, and was instrumental in starting Abukloi Secondary School in South Sudan.

She is married to Bob Kutz. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
